Confessions of a Cat Breeder

Nina is a skilled two-dimensional and three-dimensional artist with a BFA degree in design and ceramic design from Alfred University, NY. She paints her subjects in gouache or draws in pen and then composes compositions with them on the computer. She lives on the Kitsap Peninsula near Seattle in Washington State with her husband Skip, also an artist, several cats, two dogs, two geese and several horses. Nina uses many of Skip’s flower graphics in her computer compositions.

Recently Nina has also done some commission pieces for people wishing to have a painting of their beloved cat. Below, please find an image of "Armand", a wonderful Siamese cat possessing great energy and spirit.

Nina writes, "I am also doing specialty tiles for people of their pets or favorite animals or flowers. These can be framed, set in wooden trinket boxes, used as trivets, fireplace fronts, backsplashes, table tops or as a few individual tiles set into other plain tiles. For instance I am presently working on a fireplace front and window seat corners. If you want something special and individual I am happy to discuss and create it for you. I hope to hear from you."
